2. She abides by the Midwives Model of Care, as well as maintaining all state licensing requirements to practice midwifery in the state of Michigan.

3. She is a pro-life birth professional believing that human life begins at conception and from that point forward shall be treated with the utmost dignity and respect. She does not and will not recommend, refer for, engage in or directly procure an abortion or any procedure that compromises the life of a pre-born person.

4. She will do her best to treat every mother and baby within her care with the respect and dignity that is their due right as a human person made in the image and likeness of God. 

5. She honors informed choice and respect for medical freedom and body autonomy regarding care provider, place of birth, and all aspects of care. She supports active participation by the individual in all decisions pertaining to their care. 

6. She recognizes parents as the God-ordained, best care providers and decision makers for their children, and prioritizes educating and supporting parents in this role.
